Abuse filter

AbuseFilter MediaWiki extension allows privileged users to set specific controls on user activity and create automated reactions for certain behaviors. It was enabled on English Wikipedia on March 2009[1] and can now be enabled on any project at request.[2] Please update the following table when you request the abuse filter to be enabled (the local Special:ListGroupRights page can help).

Note: The "abusefilter-private" right should not be assigned to any wiki as it provides unlogged access to user IP addresses who trip any filter.
