From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki
I've heard of the use of wiki's in the art community, etc.
It's great to see technology that doesn't appear wrapped up in commercialization as much of the 'blog domains' have become.
Wiki technology has many many purposes and the re-uses done here are brilliant.
After analyzing many systems in state government, county, property record and financial and insurance services, and all the primary in-house, contracted or commercial software supporting them, I would be interested in anyone who would like to discuss a open source project that would expand (extend) on this incredible work.
There has to be some way to reduce our taxes 8^)
