A few words of the author with your permission ;) This logo try to represent basics encyclopedia's books which come from infinity to now and are always under construction. Also some pixels for technology/informatique. Green color is my choice but note than the logo use just one color (declined to pastel) and for that reason we can use other color easyly. I hope you'll like it. Note I have some difficulty to realize good transparency with png format, i usually use other format.

I really like this one. It feels like something I've seen before, though. Vaguely reminiscent of a Windows logo, maybe. But I really do like it. --PJunk

Oh yeah, i've just spotted another ressemblance, Macromedia. Well that's kind of the case with every-on of them, with the edia, but isn't this font exactly the same? And aren't they also used to using figures getting clearer on their logos? Gonna check it out on their site.. 'll tell you later. Guillaume Bokiau

Mmmm... I was pretty right. Font is very similar AND they constantly combine color font with non-color font (balck or white) AND can't stop putting their abstract logo's on the left of the title... It should be ok for the right's, as Arial Black isn't such an extraordinary font.. even if the name is very similar. But i'm afraid it won't make an enormous impact, as it might keep on reminding people of another logo. Ow, but that might actually make an impact... I know what, I'm just gonna vote 4 it ! It's trendy (duh, looks like an electronical trendmaking firm's logo!), chic, minimalistic, expressive, symbolic, everything. Got my vote, boy! Yeah, okay that's a bit like DW but, but, the idea is different and last but not least it's far enough from the "dot logo trend" or the "animal logo trend". Enough from O'Reilly and so many others. PeM

That's right, so i just realize an other variant of my logo with the books over the text as you suggest me. I made also in blue, to demonstrate that this logo is compatible in every color. Perhaps this will be useful later to create some sub-entity or category based on colors. Gobidul 15 Sep 2003
