Goals[edit]

Did you meet your goals? Are you happy with how the project went?

The project went well. The goals more or less have been achieved.

Outcome[edit]

Please report on your original project targets.

Target outcome Achieved outcome Explanation
to illustrate Lithuanian ethnographic villages that had been lacking photos from 12 the 9 villages illustrated for some hardly accessible villages there wasn't enough time during the travels
to make 10-12 photo-tours across whole country 10 tours done (~3500 km) to the all 4 quarters of the country
to illustrate all Kėdainiai district villages that had been lacking photos almost done, 3 or 4 still habitable (or still having houses) villages still left there was no enough time or road conditions was too poor for a car
to make over 500 photos of various Lithuanian villages, rivers, lakes, other objects done with a surplus (776 photos)
to make significant improvement in poorly illustrated regions more or less done (illustrated Telšiai, Rietavas, Šilalė, Molėtai, Ignalina districts which previously had poor photo-record)
to use all the made photos in Wikipedia done (or will be done - the photos from the last travel still need to be inserted to the pages)

Learning[edit]

Projects do not always go according to plan. Sharing what you learned can help you and others plan similar projects in the future. Help the movement learn from your experience by answering the following questions:

  • What worked well? // Route planing, photo making, traveling
  • What did not work so well? // Where was hard to arrange time for travels as my driver had little free time. To arrange free time and good weather conditions sometimes was difficult.
  • What would you do differently next time? // For a such amount of money I would set a longer time. This time the last travel was forced on the last day before the end of project and weather conditions wasn't perfect for photography. Also, next time I would ask some money for travel food and car amortization (two small accidents happened during these travels after that car should undergone small repairs)

Finances[edit]

Grant funds spent[edit]

Please describe how much grant money you spent for approved expenses, and tell us what you spent it on.

  • All the asked 300 EUR (because of bank transactions I have received ~293 EUR) have been spent. All of them was (as planned) for fuel. Total fuel price for all the 10 expeditions - 306 EUR.

Remaining funds[edit]

Do you have any remaining grant funds?

  • no
