Page Name[edit]

A general question: shouldn't this page just be Funds Dissemination Committee/Feedback? It's meant to be a community-led committee, so the default feedback should be community engagement. We might draw on feedback from many outsiders as well, but I would expect that to be the minority. SJ talk  18:00, 21 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. Moved! Asaf Bartov (WMF Grants) talk 20:58, 23 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Fund dissemination as per projects?[edit]

Would the FDC consider making sub committees for dissemination of funds per project? In other words, would there be an individual in the committee responsible for looking at, say, Wikiversity? (For example, I was reading an article in an Asian magazine that talked about how Wikiversity could be a fantastic model for enabling governments to expand literacy among large geographies. I found the proposition extremely thrilling, at the same time time can imagine that to get governments on board our project, there will be marketing expenditures) Of course, my question might not apply to other smaller projects; and again, I might be completely off in my understanding of the role of FDC. Just thought I'll ask. Kind regards.Wifione (talk) 03:56, 14 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
