 | Wichtig: Die Dateien von Huggle für Windows und MacOS sind nicht signiert, weshalb möglicherweise eine Warnung von SmartScreen auf neueren Windows-Versionen (insbesondere Windows 10) und von Gatekeeper auf MacOS Sierra und neuer. Diese Warnung sagt möglicherweise, dass "Windows eine unbekannte Anwendung am Starten gehindert hat" oder auf MacOS "Huggle kann nicht geöffnet werden, da es von einem unbekannten Entwickler stammt". Du kannst diese Warnung umgehen, indem du auf Windows "Weitere Informationen" anklickst oder auf MacOS indem Du einen Rechtsklick auf die Anwendung im App Finder ausführst, während du Alt gedrückt hast und dann Öffnen wählst. Die Entwickler von Huggle müssten etwa US$300 pro Jahr für ein Zertifikat zahlen, damit diese Warnung verschwindet. Aus offensichtlichen Gründen wird das OpenSource Projekt Huggle nicht $300 pro Jahr zahlen werden. Wenn du den Entwicklern von Huggle nicht vertraust, darfst du dir Huggle gerne aus dem Quellcode selbst compilieren. |

Linux
- Auf allen Linux-Versionen mit vorinstalliertem snap (z.B. Ubuntu 16.04 oder neuer) kann Huggle ganz einfach installiert werden:
sudo snap install huggle

Versionen
Die Hauptversion (3.x) ist die aktuellste und hat die meisten Fähigkeiten. Die ältere Version (2.x) wird nicht länger unterstützt.
Fehlerbehebung
Huggle auf Windows mit High-DPI-Displays (UHD) benutzen
If you have a high DPI monitor and you are using scaling (you probably do), you need to reconfigure your Huggle shortcut in order to run it properly, otherwise everything will be improperly sized:
- First, install Huggle
- Then find the shortcut you use to launch it, for example the one in the Start Menu and right click → Show location
- In Explorer, right click → Properties
- Now change the highlighted settings as can be seen on the picture on the right (Override high DPI scaling → System)
Windows: Unable to start application <random error code>
You probably downloaded 32 bit version and installed it over 64 bit (or vice versa) so parts of Huggle that stayed from previous installation use different architecture and Windows refuse to start the application this way.
Solution: completely wipe Huggle from your system, after uninstall remove any leftovers from Program Files and then try to install it again, it's recommended to download CPU architecture that you have (most likely x64).
