I simplified this message from "Meta discussion about Wikimedia projects" to "From Meta, a wiki about Wikimedia" because this wiki is not only about Wikimedia projects, but is also about the Wikimedia Foundation and about MediaWiki (which really should be thought of as one of the Wikimedia projects but often is not). In addition, Meta should not just be discussion but actual meta content about meta subjects (discussion should, as a rule, be on talk pages only except on pages whose subject is discussion - such as MediaWiki feature requests and bug reports). Wikimedia is thus the whole shebang; the foundation (of course), all the wiki projects and the MediaWiki software. --Maveric149 08:07, 12 Dec 2003 (UTC)
