The options

1. one big site, everything on it, we trust people to not blabber about stuff they're not supposed to see
2. one big site, with access control
   1. use a non-MediaWiki wiki engine
   2. pay for development of MediaWiki access controls
3. many sites with different purposes

Groups who need wikis

• Legal department
• Grants department
• Press department
• Board of Trustees
• Wikimedia chapters
• Wikimania planning (?)

Current situation

• We will experiment temporarily with a wiki used for chapters, grants and press.
• Danny, Ryo, and Domas will provide specifications to Brion for the development of MediaWiki access controls.
