The Langue musicale universelle is an very important fact being that it is one demonstration that it would be possible to dispose of an really universal communication way beeing completely impartial.

Universal is to understand in an infinively more extensiv signification as usual. Not only "universal" concerning the people speaking different languages but also "universal" within an language group between non handicaped person and handicaped person (with extremly variable forms of handicaps) and trough all possible foreign languages with an sign language usable without learning it! It is really a lot more than can do all the word languages...

Using only 10 characters to be written, it would be a perfect and ludic way to teach reading and writting texts for illetterate people of all the world because of it's musical nature (or to give to them a combined education reading and writting texts AND music)! It is possible to write it in the same way as the chinese people do with her music by using of the digit 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, insteed of the usual occidental approach of musical notation, a specially good way of computer writting (!), impartial (no difference between German notation, Anglo-Saxon notation, Italian notation). Each user can decide itself if he will use a special character fond to visualise Occidental music notes on his screen instead of digits or learn to read music like Chinese people in an erhu partition !

The inventor did discover a lot of very interessting language technics beeing really very unique... so the way to have words without any changes in writting and even so having the full hability to distinguish function, singular and plural and sexe ! Oui 23:51, 16 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. I do not believe that enough native or advanced speakers could be found to develop an encyclopedy in this language. Why not first create a wiki on Wikicities? Hégésippe | ±Θ± 18:51, 22 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
    • Dear User Hégésippe, as you can see here power of state against handicapped people in France, Solresol did already have to support a destroyent discrimination with extremly humiliating consequence for all the French population (inhuman aspect of French nationalismus) during more than one century in French spoken states. I say stateS because all the other French spoken states did have direct access and possibility to amend this terrible situation: until today is the manual of Solresol only accessible at the Music Royal Library of Belgium in French spoken lands (and at the non French spoken library of the German Museum in Munich in Germany because it is a great discovery of the humanity in the eyes of this palast of the discoveries in a country having itself a lot of discoveries to show; this library is daily open, because it belongs to the museum thematic as part of it). In France, it's stay under lock for the common people and is only accessible with great difficulties at the Bibliothèque de France. French people can't have the generosity to make a few facsimiles accessible for the international public in lending libraries because France never recognise an error (*1. And this is not really the right library for handicapped people! Only realy extrem exceptionaly if an handicapped man is itself a researcher... Solresol is actually the ONLY ONE universal language for handicapped people world wide covering very different kind of handicaps! 1995 the OCDE did register 45 Million handicapped people only in the old European Union! And 7 Million illiterate people have really best chances with this language. A part of these are in both groups, ok. But you did make opposition to the more simple interests of about 50 million persons having a really hard fat (only in the E.U.! In the world the handicapped and the illiterate people are certainly a GIANT among of persons)! And YOU will oppose and sign that? Really? What can you propose, user Hégésippe, to handicapped and illiterate people? Which encyclopedy really? And encyclopedy for non handicapped people? All the encyclopedies for non handicapped people are like a ball of dirty paper for handicapped people! You are good... You want to be an encyclopedist and can't undestand such a primitive matter... Why can you tolerate 50, yes 50, I did really check it now, other wikis with no activity and oppose to this one? Why will you accept real fantasy languages on Wikipedia and not one more for millions of poor people? You think fantasy games more important, really? - Oui 22:24, 22 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
    • (*1 (but the book is now on the web on my site in a really secure place. I will hope that the friendly university which did have interest to publish this work and does it will never erase this part of his site, so I don't need Wikipedia for that purpose! But handicapped people, her families (*2 and her tutors? I can't open the site of an university to other contributors, because it is not my and not my part. You think really they can renonce to dispose of an encyclopedie?).
    • (*2 Solresol is highly interesting between brothers and sisters of near all ages especially if one is handicapped, because is is also accessible for very young childrens. I think the film "CLOSE ENCOUNTERS OF THE THIRD KIND" from Steven Spielberg, 1977 did really good show what children can do with Solresol! - Oui 22:24, 22 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Mild Oppose I don't see good references about the real number of speakers and any organization that control this language, is doubtful that hundreds of thousands use widely this language. If exist more solid references maybe change my vote. --Taichi - (あ!) 06:49, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Taichi, you can be quiet: there is actually absolutely no speaker for Solresol because there is absolutely nothing for handicaped people! They can't use the train, the bus, the aeroplane, they can't go to school (depending of her handicap of course), can't access to the lifts in our buildings, the find no adequate keyboard. THEY LIVE LIKE ANIMALS or slave between us! Happy Christmas! It is really the best day to explain that! Oui 18:15, 24 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
If don't exist any form to comunicate, maybe don't have success this wiki. --Taichi - (あ!) 21:33, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
  • Oppose. Solresol is too close to a mere play language (not a real IAL), it is not spoken very widely (very little indeed) and a Wikipedia in it would not actually serve a reasonable goal. However, the idea is fascinating, and I might support it if: a) very many willing contributors will be found; b) one reaches a consensus on the contents and the form in which the language is displayed; c) one proves it to be suitable for any subject, just like any modern (or for that matter even a modified ancient) language; d) a flourishing, working test-Wikipedia is created. Does Oui actually speak (or should I say sing/play?) Solresol? If you do, please start considering all these conditions, and realise it is a hell of a job. Anyway, good luck for now. Caesarion 16:04, 25 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Caesarion, only for the reason that I am not able to read all the dirty things you did write correctly, your english language is incomprehensive for me, excuse me (it is the problem in wikipedia, the colonisation of the world through full english: other people are slave!!!), I will only ask one: "what will the most extremly egoist people of wikipedia do until Christmas 2005 for handicaped people? what did they do until this date?". That is all the problem... I think that today wikipedia is like a giant toad: all that only pride and arrogance, absolutely nothing human feeling in that... You are really poor people... Solresol is absolutely the first IAL (1820) if you want or not! You can't rewrite the history depending how your nose is maked! In YOUR playing culture, it is possible that one very serious thing appairs as a play: It is nonsens Caesation! Oui 21:26, 25 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
This is sheer nonsense. Stop those stupid personal attacks. I can discuss anything but if you go on using such non-arguments I'll just ignore you. Caesarion 17:39, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. I certainly don't like the approach Oui is taking on other editors here, but that's not the reason for my oppose. I oppose for the reasons Caesarion did, and I too don't see it having a function at this point. I think, as Hégésippe, that a Wikicity should be made, and if that one gets a lot of activity (which I doubt it would), we should consider making it a Wikipedia project. Jon Harald Søby 22:32, 27 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Jon! I did look for Wikicitry immediately as Hégésippe did show it to me. I did constate that it is a conglomeration of completely different things. Handicapped people have already bigest difficulties to find her way in the complexity of our world, especialy young handicapped people (having more need of an encyclopedical help) because they have to adapt herself to a world concepted truly for non handicapped people. You propose exactely the horrible way our architects did use until today: handicapped people in my edifice? ok... but please the don't habe the right to disturb the good looking and proportion of my edifice ;-( ! and it is really so in the most rail stations, town hall, busses, and terrible, also in the consulting rooms of different doctors and healing institutions. I you can guarantee that the people understand that they have to look at an completely different place as in an language list!!! My opinion is, that it is unrealistic for handicapped people: the other definition of handicap can be: "all is difficult". I hoppe you can read German a little better as you say on your home page. Please read my informations about the building of the meaning for en:deaf people on the page of Ceasarion (please don't forget also: solresol is not a language for handicapped people but the only one language with maximal integration of handicapped people! it is really an Universal Language and totaly impartial. Non handicapped people have nothing to do more to comunicate with deaf people for exemple as show the musical notes with her finger; absolutely nothing to learn!) Oui 23:54, 27 December 2005 (UTC) changed Oui 00:04, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I renonce definitively! Wikipedia will never act for handicapped people but is only a giant manipulation to erase the printing industry and workers of European countries... to Angela, to Anthere, already discussed with Ceasarion, theoreticaly preace but his infame "oppose" in Solresol is yet here!, erase all my contributions.
