Special Interest Groups

This page is devoted to organizing the special interest groups (SIGs) on meta, each of which focuses on a particular goal or initiative of the Wikimedia projects.

Managing and encouraging SIGs

People are needed to help manage the SIGs and keep track of which ones are active; to recruit people so that no single SIG dies out; to prevent repetition of effort between differeng SIGs and between a SIG and related projects elsewhere on (and off!) the wikis; and to make sure that a SIG's work is merged into another project if it dies.

Please list yourself next to the groups below if you are currently tending to them and interacting with their members. There is no limit to the number of people who can tend to a group. However, note that being a group manager is different from contributing to the group.
