Personal information: My name is Jorge Aranda, I am 19 years old, a current History and Journalism student at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. I was in Wikimedia projects since August of 2005. I am an admin in the English Wikipedia since July 1, 2006. I passed a reconfirmation of my adminship back in July 2007. I had some very serious personal issues in the past, especially with my mother's illness which made me "leave the project" several times back in 06, but that is thankfully settled now. I also have accounts in several other wikis. Currently in en, my username there is en:User:Secret, after I had a conflict with Jimbo, and mistook several comments of him personally back in September. I have learned from that experience and won't do silly things like this again.

The job of stewardship requires a complete trust, which I feel I have. I am knowledgeable in all key policies, check wikipedia twice a day, even while working now, I read Requests for permissions and Meta:Stewards' discussion index almost everytime I'm in meta, which is several times a week. I'm active in IRC under the username of Aranda56. A couple of en stewards will help, as the en.wikipedia is the largest wikipedia, and I could easily be active thoughout almost all hours. If I get elected, I would study Steward policies, and if there is something that I can't decide, I would go to another steward for help. I would also be a steward for recall, which means if the community thinks that I am doing a bad job as a steward, I would step down from the position. I also have a mild case of dyslexia, but that doesn't affect my standing in the project. Thanks Jaranda

Il compito di steward richiede una fiducia completa, che ritengo di poter avere. Oppose - sorry but no. I don't want a person who has ill feelings towards the foundation to be given such power as shown by your rudeness towards Jimmy Wales on enwikipedia and the essay you wrote here which can only be seen by enwiki admins and this comment as well as many others which I can not provide since they were lost in your multiple usurpation or maybe even oversighted..sorry..--Comet styles 01:16, 26 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
No - I'm concerned by the issue w/Jimbo not too long ago. While I could care less about the particular content of that, what concerns me is that you flew off the handle and jumped to conclusions, rather than asking for clarification about exactly what Jimmy meant. Note I spoke to Jimbo one on one just right now on IRC, and he said that there is no problem over what happened. The issue is that I found out my mother had melanoma earlier in the day, (now she is ok and well, only with a scar on her face) and I went to wikipedia to take of some stress, and I took Jimbo comment personally, added fuel to the fire.
