  • Personal info: My name is Jim Redmond. I have been an editor on the English Wikipedia (my home wiki) since October 2003 (user page) and an administrator there since July 2005. I previously ran for steward in the early 2006 elections but was unsuccessful; instead, I began working on OTRS, and have been an administrator on the OTRS interface since February 2007. More recently, I have been helping to patrol vandalism on other wikis. As a steward, my primary areas of interest would be global rights, global blocks, and SUL renaming on smaller wikis. However, I would also be available to handle other steward tasks.

  6. Candidate had a good reason for not answering before the start, and gave pretty good answers. I still stand by the rest... I like what I know of this user. However I have concerns about experience... perhaps continue doing the good work helping the small wiki team out and try again next year.
