Switching to Cologne Blue?[edit]

I am trying to switch to cologne blue. How do I do it?

Click on my preferences and then the skins tab. --Dr DBW 00:49, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The Languages[edit]

I was close to switching over from the default to cologne blue, but the different languages at the top makes it seem very cluttered. Maybe a way to move them to a bottom, or have an optional removal?--69.231.234.10 05:05, 3 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Items moved from article[edit]

Missing Go button (update: fixed)[edit]

There is no Go button so you are forced to use the OK button which does a search (which of course is disabled and you have to go through Google) even if you know (or are fairly sure of) the name of an article. This should be relatively easy to fix. (Possible location of buttons is put both the Go and OK buttons immediately below the search box, so you do not increase the left bar width.)

Skin not functioning[edit]

When I selected Cologne Blue skin, I became unable to use the wiki any more. In Firefox I get a blank screen, and in IE I get the following error:

PHP Notice: Undefined index: REQUEST_URI in c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Wiki\includes\Skin.php on line 574 PHP Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in c:\Inetpub\wwwroot\Wiki\includes\Skin.php on line 541

I have no way of reverting back to the default template as I cannot access the wiki to change my setting. The only way to go about that is to create a new user, which is not a good solution. Is there a known fix to this?

Maybe there is' something like "body {display:none;}" in your MediaWiki:CologneBlue.css

Separated Menus Not Visible with Cologne Blue[edit]

Anyone got some suggestions on why it doesn't work to have separate menus, like there is on MediaWiki (site, download etc) with the skin Cologne Blue? --Dr DBW 00:46, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

See bugzilla:2557 --HappyDog 01:12, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Logo missing[edit]

I really like cologne blue, however, when it's active the site logo disappears. Also the skin is only visible when logged in and that's when the logo disappears. When not logged in logo is fine! Any suggestions? Can't find any attributes in CSS that might affect the $wgLogo variable in LocalSettings.php.
