math not working[edit]

I have my mediawiki installed, but math formula is not working. Any kindly advice about why? I'm using www.siteground.com as my hosting company. johnuseast@yahoo.com thank you in advance!

Is there a simple way to just enable the math-tag, without BlaTex, or something like that?

texvc is not good enough for MediaWiki[edit]

Unfortunately, after a very brief test with texvc, we had to stop - it just doesn't handle enough TeX to be useful, compared to MimeTex (say).

For example, it doesn't handle hfill or hspace so one can't line up expressions and references nicely.

I need help[edit]

If I want to change the tags used to render math, ie <math>,</math>, what should I do. I want to change it to dollar signs instead, as in standard latex. Need help please - 76.241.81.120 11:38, 1 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
