Significant Page History Lost Forever?[edit]
Is there any page history back to 2011-09-11? Is the history of the work we all did in real time that dreadful day gone forever?
I gave up in discouragement after seeing nothing on these pages: history up to
- nost:September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attack history up to 2011-11-21 lost
- nost:World Trade Center history up to 2011-11-21 lost
- nost:White House history history up to 2011-09-27 lost
- nost:Osama bin Laden history up to 2011-11-07 lost

- Unfortunately, most of that history is indeed gone. However, the very early edits to the article on the September 11 attacks can be found here on the Nostalgia Wikipedia and here on the English Wikipedia]. Generally, the more actively edited a page was in late 2001, the less likely it is that relatively old edits to it have survived. Graham87 01:03, 30 January 2011 (UTC)
For the 20th anniversary of enwp.....[edit]
the WMF could create a similar wiki, with a Monobook skin, as a snapshot of Wikipedia in '05 just before the Seigenthaler incident. (Just an idea.) Catgirllover4ever (talk) 02:39, 31 March 2020 (UTC)
