The Links[edit]

Congrats Jessie for the good work. I was suggesting this: The page look a bit technical with the full links (considering some people get scared when they see long links). With your permission can we hide the long urls with simple words like "Download Here". See what I did with the first few. I hope it is ok with youSamson Maosa, JKUAT,Nairobi-Kenya 06:36, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

YES! This looks a thousand times better, and I agree it is more user-friendly. Thanks for taking the initiative on that! Jwild 16:44, 24 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I am so encouraged by hearing that. We are always here to do as more as we can to ensure success of the offline project. Samson Maosa, JKUAT,Nairobi-Kenya 06:03, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Same as Wikipublish?[edit]

Hi Jessie, not sure to understand correctly what you want to do exactly with this project... but is this project not similar to Wikipublish ? Kelson (talk)

Grants:IEG/Wikipedia likes Galactic Exploration for Posterity 2015[edit]

Dear Kelson,Samson Maosa, and Samson Maosa,

People suggested that I consult with fellow Wikipedians to get feedback and help to improve my idea about "As an unparalleled way to raise awareness of the Wikimedia projects, I propose to create a tremendous media opportunity presented by launching Wikipedia via space travel."

I plan to use the OpenZIM content library as the basis of the content launched into outer space.

Please see the idea at https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Grants:IEG/Wikipedia_likes_Galactic_Exploration_for_Posterity_2015. Please post your suggestions on the talk page and please feel free to edit the idea and join the project.

Thank you for your time and attention in this matter. I appreciate it.

My best regards, Geraldshields11 (talk) 21:36, 15 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
