[edit] Objection to deletions proposed by "IRC user Mike_lifeguard"

The article uz.wikipedia: Umar ibn al Hattob (uz:Umar ibn al Hattob) appears to be valid to me. It was reported as nonsense on August 8, 2008, but I think that is incorrect. --Cbdorsett 13:38, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

  • In fact, the same applies to the three other articles nominated for deletion by this IRC user Mike_lifeguard. I think it's a form of vandalism directed at small wikis, in this case, Arabic, Breton, West Frisian and Uzbek. Why those particular wikis would be targeted is beyond me. All four should be removed from the list. --Cbdorsett 13:47, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
At the time I nominated the uzwiki page, for example, it was clearly not valid content. Please don't throw around such accusations without forethought and understanding.  — Mike.lifeguard | @en.wb 20:44, 30 October 2008 (UTC)
Hello, it sometimes occurs that a page requested for deletion here and locally gets conent instead of being deleted [1], if this happens the bots dont remove the page (of course, because it was not deleted) but no one would delete such a page, so if some swmt-member goes through that list manually (which happens from time to time), they remove such entries from the list.
Please also remain civil and before making accussations that severe please check twice or even contact the user or a steward in private. Thanks, best regards, --birdy geimfyglið (:> )=| 20:54, 30 October 2008 (UTC)

[edit] WTH

This seems rather ridiculous. If you don't speak the language, how would you know it's a candidate for speedy deletion? Meh? - ALLSTRecho wuz here @ 20:28, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

A lot of pages requested for deletion here consist of things like "aljdoaugbenogbnw4uio4ybeio". You don't have to speak the language to know that should be deleted. J.delanoygabsadds 20:29, 7 June 2009 (UTC)
