Interesting. Mind if some of that is cross-posted here? 24.91.152.118 19:31, 14 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No. Do what you like. My viewpoint is very much from wikiversity and I view a Wiki as a basic and central component of a range of inter-related tools for multi-media on-line learning and collaboration. Hillgentleman 18:39, 4 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Translatewiki.net[edit]

The organisation that is intimately connected to MediaWiki and can make a serious difference with organisations like the Internet Archive is translatewiki.net. Officially it is separate from the WMF but with three employees making the biggest difference it is well possible to ask them to help where needed. The Internet Archive is not localised. The OCLC is not really localised.

With both these organisations we gain a lot of access to books, to sources. We get people to read. In my opinion not considering translatewiki in the grand strategy is an omission. Thanks, GerardM (talk) 12:53, 26 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]
