WikiSource?[edit]

I agree that having people distribute essays etc. freely is a good idea. But instead of creating a separate WikiProject I personally think WikiSource should instead have a well-publicised section for uploading academic works. Support That is contrary to Wikisource's currently policies. As much as we might like to impose a more open policy on them, it's their decision to make.

subsect of WikiBooks and Wikiversity[edit]

Essays on any subject can be easily added to either WikiBooks (with multiple essays compiled into books) or Wikiversity (with multiple essays compiled into course material); there does not seem to be a need for a separate Wikimedia project for this.
