Translation difficulties[edit]

After some conversations and after I volunteered part of the German translation myself, I am wondering whether some wordings in this month's Highlights were more difficult to translate than those of earlier issues. Some (like the name of the "Legal and Community Advocacy" department) had been unavoidable, but I will take extra care to use simple language in the future. In the meantime, I would be happy to hear from other translators about possible stumbling blocks in this issue, and general suggestions on make the "Highlights" easier to translate. As a related idea, Siebrand has suggested to put the statements about YTD/MTD underspending (overspending) in the "Financials" section into tabular format instead of a long sentence.
