Talk:Wikinews/Interview of the month/January 2006 EFF

Condense[edit]

We will probably need to condense some of these topics into groups as many of them are related politically if not technically. --Sfullenwider 02:00, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

That is a good idea. Perhaps the interview should concentrate on one or two main issues. Sony's DRM is a good topic if somebody is familiar with it and can pose good questions. The list of potential topics is only a suggestion. --SonicR 12:49, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I think, if time permits, is to break up the core sections (ones with the most questions), and then try to rephase the fewer question sections to bridge core sectitons. Hopefully this will help provide a coherent flow for the interview.--Sfullenwider 02:48, 14 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wikilinks[edit]

Shouldn't the Interview page be linked to from Wikipedia's page on the EFF, as a sort-of invitation to submit questions. Once the interview is over that could be changed to a link to the Wikinews interview story. Brian McNeil / talk 08:54, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I got brave on Wikipedia and added a {{Wikinews pending interview}} template and put it on the EFF article. I'd appreciate if someone with more templating skills could do a template to link from Wikipedia to Wikinews once the interview is published. --Brian McNeil / talk 17:33, 12 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
