Talk:World War I edit-a-thons 2014

From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

I think that WHEN could be the weekend of 28 June 2014. Just one hundred years after the assassination of Franz Ferdinand, begining of the July Crisis that started WWI. Do you agree? From a calendar point of view is great (Last Saturday of june, most exams finished, just before summer, we can extend them to night, weather is better...). What do you think?--Kippelboy (talk) 12:45, 4 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

On my part I have a hard time finding any problems with this great suggestion :-)! John Andersson (WMSE) (talk) 15:47, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
@Filip, what is the major reasons for organizing the parallel edit-a-thons earlier, and do you have a specific date in mind? John Andersson (WMSE) (talk) 16:02, 9 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I think we should set the date to June 28. The weekend before we in Sweden celebrate midsummer, meaning we are unable to organize anything. /Axel Pettersson (WMSE) (talk) 13:46, 13 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
