The following is a proposed Wikimedia project, policy, guideline, or process. The proposal may still be in development, under discussion, or in the process of gathering consensus for adoption (which is not determined by counting votes). References or links to this page should not describe it as "policy".

• type specifies what the proposal is for, and replaces "project, policy, guideline, or process" verbatim.
• status switches between specific statuses (if 'development', 'discussion', or 'consensus' is given), or otherwise replaces the status verbatim.
