this template[edit]

I am not very happy whit this version. It it looks nice but do not contain basic information about why it should be deleted. The old one contains more relevant information.

The reason to include more text is that if you only put the notice "This page should be deleted." and display it like a system message some admin could deleted the page like the where a automotom whitout realy looking at it. The old one is better.

I have made from those to a new one see here. I think it has the best of the both --Walter 15:08, 28 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I made the "old version" (actually not that old) because I thought {{delete}} was the only way of nominating things for deletion (being a English Wikipedian), then I saw RfD, and realized that this served the Speedy Delete function, so I hastily imported the text from en.wikipedia.
