This is the

Ramon Iriarte was borned July 25th 1930 in Paris-France. He’s father was Venezuelan (Segundo Iriarte) and his mother was Spanish(Felisa Estivalez). At a very young age(9 years old) he left France with his parents and brother to go to Venezuela. The politic situation in France and war wasn’t easy for the kids.

Several years later,Mr Iriarte started his singing lessons with Carmen Teresa Machado , followed it by Irene’s Ebersteiins singing lessons. We also know that Mr. Primo Casale and Mme. Nina de Iwanek were in charge of his repertory.

His career began in 1957 in LA ESCUELA NACIONAL DE OPERA . There, he got roles in the opera Rigoletto , Un Bello in Masquera , and many others. The big jump in his career happened 2 years later were he got the first role as El Conde de la Luna(TROVADOR) a Giuseppe Verdi’s opera. The public liked him so much then all doors got opened to him. Amico frittz, Carmen, Aida, Clowns, Butterfly, Bastien and Bastiana and many other operas had become part of Iriarte’s life with a big success.

The first time he showed his talent in an International way was in New York (1967). Fame was there for this Barytone in his adoption country.

Few years after, Mr. Iriarte decided to take time apart from the opera scene and made some folkloric records and change his career to work as a bank manager to be able to spend more time with his family.

(90’s)Ramon Iriarte left Venezuela with his family to Canada were they decided to stay .
