Hi, this is Ali Haidar Khan (nick: Tonmoy). I am from Bangladesh, a lush green sub-tropical country in South Asia and I live in the capital city Dhaka. I graduated from University of Dhaka with major in finance and currently working in a Dhaka based Financial Institution as credit analyst. My association with Wikipedia began in 2004 as a reader but I started contributing in 2008 on Bengali Wikipedia & Meta. Currently I am involved with some other projects of Wikimedia Foundation.
I am a founder member of Wikimedia Bangladesh Chapter & Treasure it's Executive Committee. I am a former member of FDC Advisory Group and currently a member of the Funds Dissemination Committee (FDC) of Wikimedia Foundation.
My mother tongue is Bengali and my second language is English. I can also speak and read Hindi and understand little bit of French, Assamese and Bishnupriya Manipuri.
