I am a Swede living in southern Stockholm and I was born 1948.

I have been working with IT since 1968 och been employed as a consultant and at Ericsson. I am now retired and acitve in many local non profit organisations.

I am a former treasurer in Wikimedia Sverige, member of Chapters committee and member of Audit committee.

On Swedish Wikipedia I patrol (after 24 hours) and fix all new articles which means I do around 2500 edits/month (Top number in sv:WP) and am something of a champion when it comes to Notability of articles. I am a sysop and user Yger

I believe the power in the Wikimedia Foundations projects will change the world in a positive way.

I also beleive it is necessary for this potential to evolve, that strong Local Chapters exist. This in order to create cooperation between all the different actors in the local society that want the Wikimedia Foundation vison to become reality, and utilize the power of it.
