Schizophrenia, the most delipitating mental illness is now known to be caused by abnormalities in the Brain.There is significant loss of gray matter of Brain,enlarged ventricles and also disceased pre-frontal brain function.Genetic abnormality,environment,brain chemical inbalance, thyroidgland malfunction, flu,quarelling parents and even recently Gulfwar are sited as reasons for this deadly discease.Though the recent atypical medications like clozapine,respirodone,quetepine,olanzapine have greatly reduced the positice symptoms associated with the discease still cognitivefunctioning and negative symptoms continue to be a grey area.Early treatment is supposed to help while some say adolescent schizophrenia is difficult to treat. Those who believe in the holy Bible must read carefully the verses St.Mathew 10 (1) wherein Jesus gave his disciples the power to cast out uncleanspirits.He gave them direction in st.Mathew 10(8) to cast out the devils.But the twelve disciples singularly failed in their duty to Jesus as revealed in St.Mathew 17 (verses 14 to 21).Jesus says that it is not his power as son of GOD which cures this dreaded discease but the FAITH of the carers in Jesus as revealed in the faith of the woman from canan.read St.mathew 15 (22 to 28).

  In USA the act of President kennedy killed the mentalhealth insitutions and now Prisons function as mentalhealth insitutions as the Patients are given the right to choose their treatment.It has killed the carers rights while the patients donot have the Mental capacity to understand their rights.
  Disability associated with the discease is another major issue not given any thought by the health and social justice groups.This has spawned a huge seminar circuit wherein the lawers discuss the MENTAL CAPACITY of patients and their RIGHTS!!!The most essential medicine of all Clozapine is not even in the WHO list of essential drugs of 357!!!
