Given my election to the FDC I have signed a Conflict of Interest statement following Wikimedia Foundation's Conflict of Interest policy which included the following questions. You can find them below with my answers.

1. Please list all corporations, partnerships, associations or other organizations of which you are an officer, director, trustee, partner, or employee, and describe your affiliation with such entity.
I am a member of the board in the following organisations:
- Wikimedia Italia, the Italian Wikimedia Chapter, with the role of Vicepresident. I'm in the board since May 2010, and member of the association since August 2008.
- AsSoLi - Associazione per il Software Libero (Free Software Association), an Italian Free Software association and a registered non-profit, with the role of Treasurer. I'm in the board since June 2013, and member of the association since June 2012.
- A.V.I.S. (Associazione Volontari Italiani del Sangue) Sezione Comunale di Bernareggio (MB), local (town) section of the biggest Italian non profit NGO of blood-donors: A.V.I.S. (Associazione Volontari Italiani del Sangue - Italian Volunteer Blood-donors Association). I'm in the board since April 2009, and member of the association since November 2004.
2. Please list all corporations, partnerships, or other entities in which you have a material financial interest as defined in the Policy as entities in which Covered Persons and all individuals or entities having significant relationships with the Covered Person own, in the aggregate, more than 10%. Please also list the actual ownership percentage.
I don't have any financial participation or other forms of investment in any company.
3. Please list any existing and/or proposed business dealings between WMF and you, your family members, and/or entities. Describe each such relationship listed and the actual and potential financial benefits as you can best estimate them.
Neither me, nor my family members have any business dealing with Wikimedia Foundation.
4. Are you aware of any other relationships, arrangements, transactions, or matters which could create a conflict of interest or the appearance of conflict? If so, please describe
For the sake of completeness:
- I am a member of Wikimedia France, the French Wikimedia Chapter since 2010.
- I currently work as a contractor at Fondazione Bruno Kessler in Trento (Italy), as a researcher within the scope of this project:

Neither me, nor my family members never had any business dealing with Wikimedia Foundation.
Update: COI questionnaire for FDC[edit]
On August 29th we have been asked to re-sign the COI and PPC as in this page, which is the "FDC form" of the COI statement and PPC, while before we mistakenly used the WMF board form.
Here's my answer to the COI questionnaire:
1. List any Wikimedia affiliate organizations with which you are involved and describe your relationship to each entity. These include (but are not limited to) any movement partners, national or subnational chapters, thematic organizations, or user groups.
- I am a member of the board in Wikimedia Italia, the Italian Wikimedia Chapter, with the role of Vicepresident. I'm a member of the board since May 2010, and member of the association since August 2008.
- I am a member of Wikimedia France, the French Wikimedia Chapter since 2010.
2. Disclose any compensation you have received from a Wikimedia affiliate organization within the past two years.
I have received no compensation from Wikimedia affiliate organizations, for the sake of completeness I have been receiving reimbursements from Wikimedia Italia for expenses I have anticipated for activities related to Wikimedia Italia (e.g. reimbursement for travel expenses to hold a lecture about Wikipedia in a school as part of our outreach and education activities). Only documented expenses are reimbursed, Wikimedia Italia can provide all the documents about these reimbursements.
3. List all business dealings that you, your family members, or entities have had with WMF or other Wikimedia affiliate organizations in the past two years.
Neither me, nor my family members had any business dealing with WMF in the past two years.
4. If you aware of any other relationships, arrangements, transactions, or matters that could create an apparent, potential, or real conflict of interest, describe the situation.
At the moment, to my best knowledge there are no relationships, arrangements, transactions, or matters that could create an apparent, potential, or real conflict of interest.
Updates as of February 2015[edit]
Two updates:
- Since April 5th, 2014 my role in the board of Wikimedia Italia is Treasurer, my term is due on March 2015.
- Since November 2014 I finished my work with Fondazione Bruno Kessler and started a PhD at the University of Trento, my PhD project is co-financed by Spaziodati s.r.l. (website)
