My candidate statement	I firmly believe in the political potentials of the Wikis and given my background, as a pioneer of blogging and podcasting in Iran, I can help Wikimedia Foundation adopt new strategies and develop projects to promote Wikis as a means for democratization of the knowledge, news, and organizations, especially in the Middle East, where I was born and rasied.
