AnimatedHistory is a script in development, which allows viewing the history of an image as an animation. Try it out, comments are welcome.

Usage

Add the following line to your global.js:

mw.loader.load('//meta.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Petr_Matas/AnimatedHistory.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript');

Now if an image has some history, then its File: page will show navigation buttons below the thumbnail.

Marker template

The marker template {{Animated history}} may be added to the description of a particular image to notify the readers that it may be useful to view it using AnimatedHistory.
