Hmm ... no data in the COIBot userreport. Well, some links extra to look at. --Dirk Beetstra T C (en: U, T) 09:53, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

P.S. please use the {{LinkSummary}} to report links with other reports, COIBot has been programmed to pick up the links in the LinkSummary template in these reports, which makes future tracking (and active tracking) of the links more efficient. --Dirk Beetstra T C (en: U, T) 10:05, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

de:User:Claus Ableiter is quite active on de wiki. I left him a message there to come and discuss the link additions. --Dirk Beetstra T C (en: U, T) 14:47, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
Note: the two sites are on different servers, but seem to lead to the same page. --Dirk Beetstra T C (en: U, T) 14:49, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Hello Beetstra!

Yes I'am a User of the german Wikipedia (about 10.000 Edits) and of Commons. At first: Sorry my active Englisch is extrem bad! School is out for me since over 20 years and I don't speak or write any english. But I read english. So I write pidgin now.

I often use for my work the big english wikipedia, the texts, the pictures and the links. Sometimes I use a little bit the french wikipedia (I had french only two years in school, because my first language was latin).

Because I use the other wikipedias, I want to give some informations back. Because I cant the languages, I add mostly pictures.

I'am fascinated, I like the international aspect of the Wikipedia and sometimes I follow the interwiki-links nethertheless I can't understand the foreign language.

And sometimes I add links. At example I had added links to pictures of the beautiful and famous german couturier Jil Sander.

Because my grandmother was a tailor by trade, I write in the german wikipedia the article about fibre plants. Look there: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Faserpflanze. Textile fibre of nettle have a long history and I know the german name "Nesselstoff", but since over 50 years the fibres are not produced anymore in the whole world. And to my surprise - I heard suddenly this is not right anymore, a little firm does it again. And so I add the information and the link - not only in the german wikipedia but in others to. I'am not a tailor like my grandmother and I have not shares of the producer and so I thinks it is not spam, it's information.

Hi, thanks. I'll close this. There is nothing wrong with adding links, but a) the links were 'new' (as in, not used often on wikipedia), and added in a short time to several wikis, which triggers these alarms. When established editors are involved, then it is better to ask. Thanks again! --Dirk Beetstra T C (en: U, T) 18:58, 25 April 2008 (UTC)
