I am computer scientist, but also have interest in many other areas.
My agenda in the realm of meta is:
- mergism
- If there is a forward to a long subsection of an article, there should be a separation.
- Sometimes there is a forward, but the forwarded item is distributed across the article forwarded to.
- deletionism
- There will always be a discussion about what is relevant enough ...
- ... but certainly it is wrong if a discussion or content reuse is disabled by a quick delete. Even a week is a very short time, let alone mere hours.
- privacy, ability to edit without being exposed in some way
- power structure and conflict management. There exists in varying degree across the wikimedia sites:
- class separation, meritocracy, gerontocracy and aristocracy
- "policiacy" and authorianism
- authority terrorism
- and of course ideologic warfare
- efficiency
