Hi,
My name is Yusuf Alan. I was born in Ankara, in 1968. I graduated from the Department of (English) Translation and Interpretation at Hacettepe University, in 1990. After working as a teacher of English in Private Samanyolu (Ankara) and Yamanlar (İzmir) high schools, which are well-known for their success in national and international science olympiads and projects, I began to work in Sızıntı, a popular scientific magazine in Turkish, as a researcher in İzmir. We moved to the Netherlands in 1995. I live in Rotterdam with my wife and daughter, and work as editor in Time Media Group.
