Over the last past years it happened that, from time to time, some strange brain wave makes me write up these texts. It's just for fun - don't expect too much message in them.

Chatting with a chick on IRC
Imagine talking on a talk page, buzzing from a banner
What a neat achievement that would be.
If I could talk to the wiki folks, learn their languages
Maybe take a data dump degree.
I'd study mastodon and diesel, camel case and weasel,
Interwiki, vandal and IP.
I would converse in C++ and Python,
And I would curse in fluent wikify.
If people asked me, can you speak sock puppetry,
I'd say, Of coursery, but why?

und Commons ein paar Bilder einverleiben

An Regeln halt ich mich nicht gern,

Durch meine Sichtung lass ich nichts
es sei denn mit 'nem Ref.
Ich ging wie Jimmy auf große Feten
auf Wikibooks schrieb ich über die Sudeten
ich sperrte Trolle und Bolschewiki

Thuis heb ik nog een harde schijf

Het zegt u hoogstwaarschijnlijk niets
Maar dat is waar ik begonnen ben
Die site, ik weet nog hoe het was
haar kende niemand in mijn klas
Met pagina's over politieke partijen
Over verbindingen met chloor
Met lijsten van een kletsmajoor
Van bloempjes en ook bijen

Wat was de site eenvoudig toen
in simp'le syntax, zonder visioen,

Maar blijkbaar deden we 't verkeerd
De site is gemoderniseerd
En nou zijn we op de goeie weg
Want zie, hoe groot de wiki is
heel handig bij een televisiequiz
en vol met populaire sterren
Met templates en met nieuwe skin,
Die we ook bij Facebook zien,
en lijsten Frikandellen

We hadden geen aparte kringen
