Wikipedia in lingua lombarda[edit]

--Natoleone (talk) 10:50, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Cebuano Wikibooks and Wikitionary[edit]

Hello, it seems these are already approved. Where could I find these? Thanks --Nino Gonzales 15:40, 19 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Ladinische Wikipedia[edit]

Hoi! Skafa.meta - Skafa.de - Skafa.it

Ladinische Wikipedia / Anmeldung[edit]

Hallo,

Danke

New Proposal[edit]

Hi Arbeo, when I proposed Portuñol Riverense, I mistakenly skipped the step of pasting it at the new proposal section of Request for new languages, and pasted it at the end of the article. Should I move the request there now? --Muñata 21:00, 27 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Serbska wikipedija (Sorbische Wikipedia)[edit]

Witaj Arbeo,

hab Dank fuer Deinen Hinweis auf meiner Diskussionsseite. Ich hab mich beim "request for new languages" mit "strong support" eingetragen. Liebe Gruesse, --nepl 13:28, 2 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Zazaki[edit]

I'm confused; the proposal of Zazaki Wikipedia has been approved? Some users think that the proposal is aprroved. Please correct the confusion.--Taichi - (あ!) 01:07, 3 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Arbeo, I asked to admin Steinbach (formerly Ceaserian) to move the request for Zazaki Wikipedia. He told that I could move it, and I did. --Maviulke12 05:03, 1 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again Arbeo, Node eu is erasing Zazaki Wikipedia request from the approved page. He seems to be very hateful agaist the project. We created a nice test-wikipedia and waited such a long time. Now, just one guy is trying to block our work. What should we do? --Maviulke12 02:53, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Maviulke! I guess the best thing to do now is remain calm. I just re-checked your request and it really seems to have a sufficient number of pros now, which is good. Staying cool-headed and factual even when somebody is provoking you and the other Zazaki editors is probably the best promotion for your project. 99% of all people here prefer to collaborate in a friendly and polite manner. If somebody wants to start a fight just refuse to take part because that's not what Wikipedia is about. In the long run, civilized and sober-headed people will always gain plenty of respect within the community and thus succeed, while cantankerous and self-centered individuals will discredit themselves in time due to their own behaviour. Regards, --ARBE0 13:01, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Arbeo, what Maviulke forgot to mention was the fact that he deleted votes. Please check the history of the Zazaki template. Before the votes he removed, it had 68% approval only. I decided to leave the issue alone since I was banned temporarily for reverting his vote deletions and since nobody else was backing me up, I figured I was alone in my disgust at such behaviour and that it was really pointless to try to stop such an effort.
In addition, I'd like to solicit a comment from you regarding Taichi's moving of the Old Church Slavonic and Old Norse requests to the Approved page. I disagree with his logic, given that neither request is supported by any fluent speakers, but according to him they can be moved because "sufficient interest" has been shown (see my talk page: user talk:Node ue). I have reverted his addition 3 times now and I hope that he will not add it again as I try to discuss the issue with him, but if he does, I will not revert it for at least a week in the hope that I may get supporting or opposing opinions from you and Caesarion. I do not think it's constructive to approve requests for Wikipedias that have absolutely no fluent speaker support, empty or nearly-empty test wikipedias, and whose original requesters have shown little interest, as it seems likely that if these Wikipedias were to be created, they would remain empty for an extended period of time, and also because it opens the door to creation of many other new Wikis with no support from native or fluent speakers, "just because we felt like it". --Node ue 15:24, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Node! Sorry for the late reply. I basically agree with you that ancient as well constructed languages should only be declared "approved" if there's a sufficient number of, say, proficient speakers willing to contribute (i. e. at least two of them, similar to the "two native speakers" rule for living natural languages). That's why I moved the Novial req. only after I had made sure there were at least two capable Novial speakers (cf. User talk:Nov ialiste and Talk:Requests for new languages#Approving the Novial Wikipedia). --ARBE0 14:41, 16 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Novial test wiki[edit]

Hi, although I'm the main contributor at least 2 other experienced Novialists have contributed also: BRG and Novialist (the latter a different person from me).

One other contributor appears to be an Esperantist who's been learning Novial.

Techwiki[edit]

Are you a member of the WikiTech mailing list? If so, could you request the creation of the approved language-wikis? Not that anything's too likely to happen... I requested a few weeks ago, but my email didn't go through (and it's probably got the wrong Buryat code in it). Tuf-Kat 01:45, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I know, there's not likely to be any results, but at least nobody can say we didn't follow the supposed procedure. Tuf-Kat 22:48, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Steinbach (formerly Caesarion) 14:08, 31 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Little problem[edit]

Hi, we have a little problem. User:Tugazo propose a European Portuguese Wikipedia, in the proposal of new languages, but much portuguese users vote oppose to the proposal. But, Tugazo annulated the resulted, because only the votes of the habitants of Portugal are valid, and restricted the votation. He sabotaged the votation, and maybe think that he will be gained a block for this action. --Taichi - (あ!) 04:38, 3 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

--Taichi - (あ!) 20:29, 18 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, muy bien. Gracias por informarme. --ARBE0 12:17, 20 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Cambio[edit]

Hola. Pienso que la página Requests for new languages está muy desordenada y fea. ¿Qué opinas? Yo opino que deberían haber algunas reglas nuevas:

Saludos, --ARBE0 16:11, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey: Wikipedia Rotuman[edit]

Noticed ur good work in an archived discussion about some Polynesian WP requests that were knocked back (rightly so, no idea wat that Belgian man user was up to!). I'd like to respectfully invited you to vote for Wikipedia Rotuman here. Thanks heaps. Matt Bray
