Logo vote[edit]
I don't know how you were intending to "fix" the table, but since that was almost an hour ago and it's still messed up, I've reverted the edit. --Yair rand 03:18, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- I am using IE, and it shows fine to me at my revision. See:
So I suggest you to check your settings... --Arseny1992 04:20, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- The tally is transcluded on Wiktionary/logo/refresh/voting and all translations where it's part of a table. It doesn't really matter what it looks like on the tally page, it's for display on the voting pages. --Yair rand 05:05, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- Why not to place the table header and footer on the tally page, and transclude the whole page instead? I mean, to avoid mistakes for example: placing own vote row into an incorrect location in the code, messing it all too. --Arseny1992 05:27, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- Because each of the 11 voting pages has the header in a different language. --Yair rand 05:31, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- Then comes that question: Is it possible to set #if's so that if a user is browsing Meta with his language set in his preferences / came from a project on his language (http-referrer) / ... , he will always see the header in his language even when it is transcluded from a centralized location? --Arseny1992 05:41, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- That ... sounds impossible, and it might not be a good idea anyway as it would confuse anyone trying to add a new translation of the voting page. --Yair rand 05:59, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- And anyway, people aren't supposed to be adding their votes manually (adding all the wikisyntanx) they're supposed to be using Template:WiktLogoVote as described on the voting page. --Yair rand 06:00, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
