DialektWiki[edit]

Hallo Achim Bovelett,

Also:

DialectWiki[edit]

I think it'd be best if you moved this to your own subpage. Or, rather, that's my suggestion. You have written the article in the first person and it becomes difficult to understand with the way it's currently phrased. —Anonymous DissidentTalk 14:45, 31 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Jusigh,

it's a private photo of me and I don't know how and where to add copyright info. Bovelett 09:30, 2 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Salût![edit]

I see you're the one with the bright idea of a DialectWiki! I'm sure to support it, as I speak a subdialect too, of the Neapolitan dialect of Italian. As my knowledge of my native dialect grew stronger, I made, and am still making, an "official" standard of my native idiom, a writing system in which I can always know what to write and how to spell it. That's a big problem with the Neapolitan in general, the kind spoken in Naples (click here to visit Neapolitan Wikipedia).

Also, out of courtesy, I fixed your userpage, but if you want your old code back, I saved it, and I can e-mail it to you. Also, though I'm not as familiar to Wikimedia as the majority of registered Wikimedians are, I've been on here for a bit over 7 months now, so if you have something to ask, I may be able to help the best I can. Best regards ... IlStudioso 09:52, 21 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

@Ciao,

I was not aware that there was something with my userpage. Thanks for your positive feedback as well. I experienced that there are enough people around like you which can carry the idea of a DialectWiki and make it happen. I also added the the Neapolitan Wikipedia to my list on DialectWiki. To my opinion it takes only some participants to preserve their own home dialect to start with and motivate others to join afterwards. I hope that you keep an eye on the site. It is a sandbox/test wiki for the moment and I hope that it wll be integrated into Wikiversity or as an independant portal.

On my page you will also fnd a request for help. There is an existing extension which would do the trick but I have difficulties to get it embedded into the DialectWiki yet. If you have an idea that would be great.

Distinti saluti & a nice weekend

By fix, I actually meant reformatting, e.g. creating internal links, mainly to articles on Wikipedia, organizing text, and the like. No actual problems were on your userpage. Sorry for the confusing language IlStudioso 03:16, 28 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
