I don't understand you have a right to ignore my complaint on Template talk:Wikimedia so revert your change. Please explain and pursuade other editors why such drastic changes can be justified. Thank you. --Aphaia++ 08:34, 21 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Just noticed your revert war, please stop arguing with Aphaia for now. She has a point, that decisions like this should be made here, on Meta, not on foundation-l - that's only a place for discussions.

For now, I'll experiment with that page for a bit. Check back into it in a few minutes, and tell me if you'll like it. Datrio 08:54, 21 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, nevermind, I forgot I can't input JavaScript and normal HTML on Wiki pages. Back to the topic, I'm with Aphaia here. Template:Wikimedia is a good template, which is used on a few important pages. It's informative and gives the user access to every option with one single click. I personally don't think it's too long, or that it has any useless information. Please start a discussion on Template talk:Wikimedia and persuade more editors that your changes will be better. Okay, NOW I see what you've done here. That's even a pretty good idea... I like it. But if it wouldn't be for your explaination, I wouldn't even know that you're making submenus for each section. Once again, please, list on Template:Wikimedia what changes are you exactly doing, so Aphaia will be aware of them. I'm sure she'll understand, if you'll show her exactly what have you done so far, and how does it look. Datrio 09:05, 21 August 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimania 2006 in London?[edit]

Wikimania 2007[edit]

Hi Dan! Yes, I've already been involved in discussions about this, and there's already a guy working on this (Sam Kuper, he's proposing University College London). I'm not sure how developed the plans are, as I'm just too busy right at the moment (your title "it's that time of year again" is doubly apt, as I'm in the midst of writing up my dissertation!), but I could put you two in touch if you like (I don't know his user name). Do you want to email me so i could forward you what I have? PS: I'll be back to business by the end of the month but not sure if that's too late. PPS: I might be heading to Reading for a day or two at that stage, if that's any good.. Cormaggio @ 13:41, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am interested in getting a bid together for 2008 now... Gordo 14:43, 6 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
"Wikimedia Europe Conference" - that's an interesting idea - why not suggest it yourself? ;-) (Apologies if you've already done so - I am currently quite out of touch, but will be back to 'normal' shortly.) Cormaggio @ 14:38, 28 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
