God morgen![edit]

I don't know if you've had a chance to read the announcements on Tinget, but this may be something you'd be interested in reading. We're gauging support from the Nordic wikis and asking people who like the idea to sign their names. Please consider! Mike Halterman 09:52, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

God morgon, sjølv. You are incredibly quick! --Hordaland 10:00, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I was already here, I saw "Norwegian," my little spidey sense went off and here I am. :) Mike Halterman 10:34, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Quick is the word! "Silly" at 11:54 and "wrong" at 11:55. A record. That other H is indeed a busy fellow. Veit itj om eg vil røyste for Stockholm; eg er opphavleg frå ein annan by på lista... --Hordaland 11:39, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I don't speak Norwegian, what did that sentence say? Mike Halterman 09:49, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
He he, I caught you there. It says: "Don't know if I will vote for Stockholm; I'm originally from another city on the list..." Actually I'm not that involved in the behind the scenes stuff at Wikipedia. Yet.
And how come you can write "god morgen" in bokmål, if you don't speak Norwegian? (You wrote it correctly in bokmål; I wrote it correctly in nynorsk.) --Hordaland 14:56, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Good morning is one of those words you can easily look up anywhere and know if you don't know anything else in the language. Mike Halterman 17:52, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've been trying to find my way 'round on WikiMedia, and I keep getting lost. I found something needing changing in nynorsk. It wouldn't let me edit. After more wandering I noticed I was logged out! Can't for the life of me find that template (?) again! Maybe WikiMedia is more trouble than it is worth. --Hordaland 15:03, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Barnstar and a request for feedback[edit]

Individual Engagement Grant Barnstar
Thank you for commenting on Individual Engagement Grant proposals during this recent round! We really appreciate that you took the time to share your thoughts.

To help us improve the IEG program for future participants, would you mind taking this quick 3-question survey?

Thanks again for your help,

What future IdeaLab campaigns would you like to see?[edit]

Hi there,

I’m Jethro, and I’m seeking your help in deciding topics for new IdeaLab campaigns that could be run starting next year. These campaigns aim to bring in proposals and solutions from communities that address a need or problem in Wikimedia projects. I'm interested in hearing your preferences and ideas for campaign topics!

Here’s how to participate:

Take care,

Future IdeaLab Campaigns results[edit]

Last December, I invited you to help determine future ideaLab campaigns by submitting and voting on different possible topics. I'm happy to announce the results of your participation, and encourage you to review them and our next steps for implementing those campaigns this year. Thank you to everyone who volunteered time to participate and submit ideas.

With great thanks,

I JethroBT (WMF), Community Resources, Wikimedia Foundation. 23:55, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Open Call for Individual Engagement Grants[edit]

Greetings! The Individual Engagement Grants (IEG) program is accepting proposals until April 12th to fund new tools, research, outreach efforts, and other experiments that enhance the work of Wikimedia volunteers. Whether you need a small or large amount of funds (up to $30,000 USD), IEGs can support you and your team’s project development time in addition to project expenses such as materials, travel, and rental space.

With thanks, I JethroBT (WMF), Community Resources 15:56, 31 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
