Translator, We need you!

Dear Huji,

You have helped us in previous years with translations and for that we are most grateful. Now we turn towards the 2011/12 fundraiser. It may seem forever away, but work has already begun getting everything ready to go. This year we want to have landing pages covering as many countries in as many languages as possible.

Right now, we want to figure out who is interested in translating for the fundraiser. This year we're hoping to have more of a solidified "core" group of translators that we can count on to have work done by a few key dates, but we'd also welcome help from people who are willing to just help out when they can.

تغییر نام کاربری

سلام. مدتی قبل درخواستی مبنی بر تغییر نام کاربری در تابلو اعلانات استواردها مطرح کرده بودم. تا کنون در بیش از 40 ویکی تغییر نام کاربری بنده صورت گرفته و اکنون در 321 پروژه با نام کاربری Mehdi در حال ویرایش هستم. به استثناء ویکی مانیا 2008 که استواردها توانایی تغییر نام کاربری را نداشتند و همچنین انبار که اجابت درخواست تغییر نام را به تغییر نام در سایر ویکی‌ها منوط نمود و ویکی خبر فارسی که با این مشکل مواجه شده‌ام. اکنون از شما درخواست راهنمائی دارم که چطور می‌توانم به منظور تکمیل یکی کردن حساب‌های کاربری، نام کاربری Mehdi را در wikimania2008.wikimedia.org خارج کنم؟ زیرا آن کاربر در آن ویکی اصلاً ویرایشی نداشته و همان حساب خودکار ایجاد شده برای بنده دردسر شده است. ارادتمند:--Mehdi^Talk 20:33, 21 September 2011 (UTC)

سلام. ویکی wikimania2008 در حال حاضر دیوانسالار و مدیر ندارد، اما سوابق نشان می‌دهد که باس زمانی در آن‌جا دیوانسالار بوده. با او تماس بگیرید، شاید راهی برای دوباره دیوانسالار شدن خودش و تغییر دادن نام کاربری شما بداند. Huji 23:25, 21 September 2011 ‏(UTC)

سلام معادل‌های فارسی برای جزئیات توابع تجزیه‌گر (پارسر فانکشن) چیست؟ آیا اصلا تعریف شده‌اند؟

مثلا

هستم و یک سوال دیگر: من زمپ را نصب مردم ولی مای‌اس‌کیو‌ال و آپاچی پس از دو ثانیه که استارت خوردند، مشغول می‌شوند و عملا کاری انجام نمی‌شود

مای‌اس‌کیوال، آپاچی، پی‌ایچ‌پی و مدیاویکی را هر کدام جداگانه نصب کردم ولی هنوز در راه‌اندازی ویکی لوکال با مشکل مواجهم

می‌دانم که صفحات راهنما در خود سایت مدیاویکی آمده ولی قبل از آنکه خودم را گرفتار آن همه صفحهٔ انگلیسی با آن نثر دشوار کنم خواستم در رابطه با ذات ویکی لوکال بیشتر بدانم

آیا با ویکی لوکال می‌شود از اطلاعات ویکی‌پدیای فارسی استفاده کرد یا نه؟

مثلا آیا من می‌توانم در مقاله فلان در ویکی لوکالِ خودم مقاله یا الگوی بهمان را از ویکی فارسی فرا بخوانم (کال) یا نه؟

یا اصولا آنچه از ویکی لوکال در ذهن من شکل گرفته اشتباه است؟

و در نهایت ببخشید برای اینقدر بد شکل نوشتن و ایجاد پاراگراف‌های متعدد. نمی‌دانم چرا راست به چپ متا غیر فعال شده!!!!!!!!!! Americophile 01:19, 5 October 2011 (UTC)

سلام. در جواب سوال اول، خیر آن پارامترها معادل فارسی ندارند. در واقع به هیچ زبانی معادل ندارند. آن پارامترها مستقیماً به پی‌اچ‌پی می‌روند و دستورات زمان پی‌اچ‌پی هم قابل محلی‌سازی نیستند.

در مورد سوال دوم تصور شما اشتباه است. ویکی لوکال شما، یک چیزی می‌شود مثل ویکی عتف مثلا. آن ویکی خودش مستقلاً یک ویکی است و هیچ ربطی هم به ویکی‌پدیا ندارد.

شما می‌توانید dump اطلاعات ویکی‌پدیای فارسی را دانلود و در ویکی خود درون‌ریزی کنید (حجمش در حد چندصد مگابایت است) اما آن بحث جدایی است.

سلام، اگر بخواهیم در یک ویکی فارسی از کلمه جادویی {{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} نام ماه را به انگلیسی (October) دریافت کنیم و نه به فارسی (اکتبر) باید چه کنیم؟ (منظورم این است که مثلا در مورد اعداد از formatnum استفاده می‌کردیم، در مورد کلمات چه کار باید بکنیم؟) Americophile 18:47, 15 October 2011 (UTC)

چنین گزینه‌ای نداریم. باید یک الگو بسازید مثلا به اسم {{ماه به لاتین}} که اسم فارسی را بگیرد اسم لاتین را برگرداند، بعد نتیجه {{CURRENTMONTHNAME}} را تحویل آن الگو بدهید: {{ماه به لاتین|{{CURRENTMONTHNAME}}}}

سلام. سیاست محلی ما چنان است که اگر کاربری هیچ ویرایشی نداشت، حسابش را می‌توان غصب کرد. اما حق با شماست و من اول باید از عدم مخالفت شما اطمینان حاصل می‌کردم (من فرض کردم که چون حساب شما از چندین سال پیش هیچ فعالیتی نداشته، غیر فعال است). با کاربر محلی تماس می‌گیرم که نام جدیدی برگزیند. --Huji (talk) 17:32, 6 January 2013 (UTC)

RE: Removing unnecessary access on yi.wikt

Hi, I am a bureaucrat (user Joystick) on Yiddish Wiktionary. Unfortunately, on Meta I have another username (Joystick.pl). I agree with you, that a number of people with sysop and bureaucrat access to yi.wikt is too large. In the past I tried to talk to these people but most of them did not reply to me and moreover they are not active users. Lately I have not have much time for Wiki, because I have been working on other projects of Free Culture. This is why I would prefer that someone else take care of it. Some of the people with sysop access do not know Yiddish language. They are owners of various bots and programmers who - from some reasons - got this access even before me. So it is possible to talk to them in English. I can help willingly but I cannot take care of it as a whole. Best, Joystick.pl (talk) 22:09, 6 January 2013 (UTC)
