I think the calendar is to report events in the wikimedia sphere. Political events are not to be included please. Anthere

I was not aware of this. Then why not have a 'political event' calendar, or perhaps user-specific calendars to mark as an individual sees fit?

Hi James, I've removed your request from Requests for permissions since the Englisc Wikipedia does not exist yet. Stewards can not create Wikipedias, and we can not make you an admin there until the Wikipedia exists and you have a user account on it.
