I will reply where the message was left and would appreciate it if you did the same to avoid fragmentation of discussions. I will periodically archive this page of all sections which are unlikely to be continued. If you would like to continue an archived discussion simply remove it from the archive page and paste it here.

Mailing list[edit]

Do you know how to make a Proposal on Mailing List?? WE need newcomers badly for http://www.pop-cult.org/Wikitainment .--T-man 12:33, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, this is unlikely to be accepted as a Wikimedia project as it focuses on one topic specifically and Wikimedia tries to make it so people from almost any background and with a speciality in almost any area can contribute. I recommend you look at Wikia who are more likely to accept your project. Lcarsdata 14:33, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well, pop-culture is a very broad term. Any topic goes. I'm talking from the design of a soup can, to the product inside, the brand that made it, its commertials on TV, etc. From a sports team, the games it has played, its members, to the products it endorses. TV show DVDs, movie cast and crew, toys, videogames, any pop culture item. It goes where Wikipedians usually stop.--T-man 07:40, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmation[edit]

For checking your endorsement submission eligibility, could you provide a link to your user page for other wikis under which you meet the voting criteria, or make it more visible, if exists? Thanks, --Aphaia 04:42, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ah sorry, I got it .... --Aphaia 04:43, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikimania 2008 London Bid[edit]

Hi! I noticed you were the contact person for the Wikimania 2008 London Bid. I'd like to offer myself to you as a co-developer of this bid. I live in nearby Essex, and would be more than happy to help develop this bid for Wikimania to finally come to London! I have significant experience in A/V and other technical fields, and I have a good knowledge of London and its' venues. Contact me on my talk page if you are interested! --Skenmy 20:03, 2 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
