and I thought I would only capture the shortest path from {{ to }}, however, not, I just get

MSU Interview
Dear Pathoschild,
My name is Jonathan Obar user:Jaobar, I'm a professor in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at Michigan State University and a Teaching Fellow with the Wikimedia Foundation's Education Program. This semester I've been running a little experiment at MSU, a class where we teach students about becoming Wikipedia administrators. Not a lot is known about your community, and our students (who are fascinated by wiki-culture by the way!) want to learn how you do what you do, and why you do it. A while back I proposed this idea (the class) to the communityHERE, where it was met mainly with positive feedback. Anyhow, I'd like my students to speak with a few administrators to get a sense of admin experiences, training, motivations, likes, dislikes, etc. We were wondering if you'd be interested in speaking with one of our students.
So a few things about the interviews:
- Interviews will last between 15 and 30 minutes.
- Interviews can be conducted over skype (preferred), IRC or email. (You choose the form of communication based upon your comfort level, time, etc.)
- All interviews will be completely anonymous, meaning that you (real name and/or pseudonym) will never be identified in any of our materials, unless you give the interviewer permission to do so.
- All interviews will be completely voluntary. You are under no obligation to say yes to an interview, and can say no and stop or leave the interview at any time.
- The entire interview process is being overseen by MSU's institutional review board (ethics review). This means that all questions have been approved by the university and all students have been trained how to conduct interviews ethically and properly.
Bottom line is that we really need your help, and would really appreciate the opportunity to speak with you. Unjustified rv , and Wikimedia politics
Can you please take a look at this: User_talk:DBigXray#revert_on_squat_lobster. OK, so I was a tad rude, BUT an edit of mine to squat lobster has been reverted, even though it contravenes no policies that I have been shown. Furthermore, the editors involved seem to be biased against Wikispecies, even though it is part of the overall Wikimedia project. In particular, I would draw your attention to this rubbish:
- Stho002's edits have repeatedly replaced well-sourced information with "This needs revising and updating, see Wikispecies for details", or equivalents. This is unsourced, and is original research. At best, it is a citation to user-generated content (in the case of the two relevant Wikispecies pages, generated almost exclusively by User:Stho002)
Such edits are self-evidently not OR, nor are they unsourced, and the fact that the Wikispecies pages were generated by me alone is irrelevant to anything. The edit is simply referring the reader to the fully sourced and referenced information at another location on the overall Wikimedia project. Because the Wikispecies pages are fully sourced and referenced, the fact that the pages were generated by me alone is clearly irrelevant! Is a fully sourced Wikipedia article not allowed just because it was generated by a single editor???!!! I think not! Wikispecies is that PART of the overall Wikimedia project that is best able to keep track of this kind of biodiversity information, and so there is absolutely no point in repeating it all on Wikipedia, where it will fall out of date more easily. Again, look at these misguided comments:
- Removing slightly out-of-date, but still basically valid information, and leaving nothing in its place is not acceptable. Contrary to Stho002's assertions, Wikipedia and Wikispecies are separate projects (which is why Wikispecies is cited in "External links"). We can link to it, but it cannot be a replacement for information being presented here.
Firstly, I did not leave nothing in its place, I left a link to Wikispecies. Furthermore, there are interwiki links between WS and WP, not "external links". So, I ask you to please confirm if my edit to squat lobster contravened any WP policy, and if not, kindly undo the rv. If it did, can you please enlighten me as to the relationship between WP and WS, and why they cannot function together in harmony. Thanks, Stho002 (talk) 21:37, 10 May 2012 (UTC)

- Yes, but I asked you specific questions (1) did my edit (which was reverted) contravene WP policy; (2) if so, which policy? (3) What is the relationship between WS and WP, and how does it apply to the current situation? If my edit did not contravene WP policy, then the rv is unjustified, and so the matter is not a "dispute", but a contravention of policy by the reverter, which requires action by a steward to rectify, thanks Stho002 (talk) 21:58, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't handle dispute resolution (nor am I a good reference on Wikipedia policy), and this not a matter for steward intervention. So far as I know, Wikispecies is an independent community and its relationship to Wikipedia has no bearing on the dispute. Jesse, you might be interested to note that the original issue here was KC and other members of IDCab coming into Wikiversity to alter the signed work of half a dozen resident scholars (myself included). They came here to redact and cover-up the evidence and analysis of the corrupt practices of IDCab on the English Wikipedia. Those were the corrupt practices that eventually led to ArbCom sanctioning FeloniousMonk, then the most powerful admin in IDCab. —Moulton 17:22, 4 March 2011 (UTC)

Hiho Pathochild, you've a page /Manual:Installation now. Sorry for that, but please do not just copy pages from Meta, that are written under the GFDL. We'll move a bigger amount of pages including their history from wiki to wiki soon (I'll have to poke Brion for that and still need to complete a list of files). So you could copy pages manually without problems if you are the only author, or if if you respect the GFDL (note the main authors, page history and so on; this is easier for pages with a short history). Please also note, that the Help namespace on MediaWiki.org is in the public domain, see Project:Namespaces and that we're still in the state of starting this project ;-) Hope, that you are not too disappointed. Anyway, thanks for your work - it is nor lost, and you can improve Help:Installation (should be Manual:Installation here) after it was moved, or still right on Meta now, if you want. - Hey. I've implemented the changes at m:Help:Installation and tagged the subpage for speedy deletion. Sorry about that; I couldn't find the documentation related to editing this particular wiki. My original intention was a formatted history table stored in the talk page history and linked to from the page history. I was waiting until I complete a PHP script I'm writing to create the table from the history for such circumstances. Importing it is a much cleaner solution. - Hello Wikimaniac. Sayuri reverted you, not me. The reason we use external links on help pages is that they're intended for copying to new wikis, which generally don't have the same interwiki table.
