What future IdeaLab campaigns would you like to see?[edit]

I’m Jethro, and I’m seeking your help in deciding topics for new IdeaLab campaigns that could be run starting next year. These campaigns aim to bring in proposals and solutions from communities that address a need or problem in Wikimedia projects. Open Call for Individual Engagement Grants[edit]

Greetings! The Individual Engagement Grants (IEG) program is accepting proposals until April 12th to fund new tools, research, outreach efforts, and other experiments that enhance the work of Wikimedia volunteers. Whether you need a small or large amount of funds (up to $30,000 USD), IEGs can support you and your team’s project development time in addition to project expenses such as materials, travel, and rental space.

2016 Community Wishlist Survey[edit]

Hi,

You’re getting this message because you participated in the 2015 Community Wishlist Survey and we want to make sure you don't miss it this year – or at least can make the conscious choice to ignore if it you want to. The 2015 survey decided what the Community Tech team should work on during 2016. It was also the focus of Wikimedia hackathons and work by other developers. The 2016 Community Wishlist Survey is now open for wishes. You can create proposals until November 20. Global preferences ready for testing[edit]

Greetings,

I am contacting you because of your support for Global settings in the 2016 Community Tech Wishlist. Global preferences are now available for beta testing, and need your help before being released to the wikis.

Read over the help page, it is brief and has screenshots
Login or register an account on Beta English Wikipedia
Visit Global Preferences and try enabling and disabling some settings
Visit some other language and project test wikis such as English Wikivoyage, German Wiktionary, the Hebrew Wikipedia and test the settings
Report your findings, experience, bugs, and other observations

Once the team has feedback on design issues, bugs, and other things that might need worked out, the problems will be addressed and global preferences will be sent to the wikis.

I went looking for you on other Wikimedia sites and saw that you are everywhere. Thanks for asking to finish up on the Monarch Butterfly migration article. I'd like to catch up and see how things are going for you! What about that degree you were working on? Anyway, you probably saw the message I left on my talk page. I really am not trying to be dramatic but wow! I have a knack for getting all the wrong kind of attention. I'm going to appeal my topic ban in the future but I won't tell you when so as not to break yet more rules on canvassing. We need your feedback on a tool from the Wikimedia Summit[edit]

Hi! I'm contacting you as one of the participants in the Wikimedia Summit 2022, to kindly ask for your feedback through a 5-10 minute survey to evaluate 'Baserow' (note: the survey is on a Google form).

Baserow was tool through which participants in the Summit co-created a database of Movement Strategy activities. We hope to learn from you how useful it may be to keep using it in the future to help document and connect on Movement Strategy work.
