I am new to Wiki. I want to know if this Wiki method could be used on a Web Site to edit text on a specifk page or pages ONLY by one person (via password) I want only specific indaviduals to edit text. Thank you Roger

No, these are some notes I'll be using as a reference for when I write a new blocking mechanism this spring or summer. You sound like you want to consult Setting user rights in MediaWiki in the manual, and restrict editing access to a particular, hand-picked group.
