From Meta, a Wikimedia project coordination wiki

Hi Rosa! Welcome back to meta... we've missed you.

greets[edit]

I'm glad to see you added yourself to both editing lists. If you interact with others who seem interested in the same, please encourage them to sign up there as well... we will need a few more eager people before we can reliably get a project started.

Any thoughts on what to use for initial tests/training? I was thinking something important like w:en:Wikipedia:Copyright, which is a real mess (and doesn't even mention things like compatible licenses), or Meta:About and w:en:Wikipedia:About, some of the first pages a curious visitor will see. +sj+ 21:54, 23 Jul 2004 (UTC)

Newsletter[edit]

Hello, Rose! Take a look at the new Wikimedia Newsletter ('copyeditor' proved too hard for many translators to cope with, so I just used 'proofreader' everywhere on the masthead). I hope you will be able to help out with copyediting/prufing as it progresses; this seems like a good opportunity to get the copyediting project off the ground.

Be well, +sj+ 00:17, 6 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Update -- text is now frozen, and changes are only being made on the live site, wikimediafoundation.org . You might finish proofreading there, and leave notes on the talk page of the old newsletter-outline here on meta. Thanks so much for your help so far. I know the text could use much improvement, but it is almost respectable now, for a tight production deadline... +sj+ 08:24, 21 Sep 2004 (UTC)

and again[edit]

There is new content in English to look at, next you are around. Drop me a note on my user page when you get this. +sj+

Other notes on your En: talk page. Bdesham is also interested in helping out. +sj+ 20:41, 6 Mar 2005 (UTC)
Try starting with pg.3, which needs compression and attention more; I'll tackle the interview.
