Hello VasilievVV. I removed the Russian Wikipedia from the standard bot policy (global bots) wikiset in the last update because it's listed in neither the policy list nor the policy option list. I see it was discussed locally and there was consensus for global bots, but I don't know what else was agreed upon. Was there also consensus to use the standard bot policy and allow automatic approval of certain types of bots? —{admin} Pathoschild 15:24:50, 12 August 2008 (UTC)

Hi VasilievVV, Just wondered if you knew that both Abkhazia and South Ossetia have been reintegrated into Georgia on the Wikipedia page w:List of countries and outlying territories by total area. No discussion appears to have taken place. I think the reason is that some editors do not want the countries of Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and England to be on the list, so they remove Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Kosovo etc from separate entries in order to destroy the argument that if Abkhazia, South Ossetia and Kosovo are on there they should be on there too. I think it an outrage that they should be removed following acceptance since September. Regards,

I understand that you are "the man" behind http://toolserver.org/~vvv/sulutil.php. Lately, it looks like SUL Util gives wrong results, for example the page [1] says "SUL account doesn't exist", but if Netspider visits the de:Special:MergeAccount page, he gets the message "Login unification complete" (see ro:Wikipedia:Schimbarea numelui de utilizator:Netspider). Using an older version of IE recently, I noticed that the global logs fail to show the user@project format when browsing the logs, as another user mentioned at the above discussion. Is there any way to build a gadget (or perhaps autodetect the browser version) to disable interlinker when it's not going to work on that browser?

Здравствуйте VasilievVV.

У меня возникла некоторая проблема со входами в Википедию. Недавно стало возможным создать единую учётную запись для входа на страницы Википедии на разных языках. http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help:Unified_login/ru У меня только проблема в русской Википедии я пишу для входа своё имя русскими буквами. В иностранных версиях – английскими буквами. Теперь программа сделала общий вход. и теперь на иностраные страницы вход есть автоматически, а функция «my contributions» не отображается, пока я не перепишу там же свою же запись для входа английскими буквами. Как теперь отказаться от единой учётной записи, так как ничего лучшего для удобства в работе она не несёт. Нигде никакого ответа для разрешения данной ситуации я не нашёл. Я бы хотел поменять имя с Theta на Theta682. Второе имя используется только мною. Я бы хотел изменения в metawiki, mediawiki, ruwiki, bewiki и ukwiki (а ещё лучше всю глобальную запись с homewiki: Russian), английская вики уже переведена.
