Hi

I wonder on your sources who tells you it is disputed. It is been prov by Indian Court too the truthfulness of true successor of Syedna Mohammad Burhanuddin RA is Syedna Mufaddal Saifuddin TUS. Kindly refrain from making changes to this again and again. — The preceding unsigned comment was added by Afkothari (talk) 03:21, 17 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Afkothari:: Thanks for your message. I only was involved in it once or twice (at March 1st the most recent). It was just a quick decision that I leaned toward the what the other editor had reverted earlier. DivineAlpha (talk) 03:36, 17 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Please see GS. Global sysops cannot locally block on enwiki, nor can we globally lock accounts. We can't globally block IP addresses either. We only have admin rights on small wikis. Please contact a local enwiki admin (WP:AIV or UAA) PiRSquared17 (talk) 21:44, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Oh okay, so it only applies to those wikis we check. Thanks, PiRSquared17. DivineAlpha (talk) 21:47, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@PiRSquared17: I presume Global rollback is the same policy as above? DivineAlpha (talk)

Oh I found my answer here. DivineAlpha (talk) 22:12, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
GR is global. Global sysop applies to a specific wikiset. Special:GlobalGroupPermissions, Special:Wikisets. PiRSquared17 (talk) 22:36, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Is something wrong?[edit]

I see you admitted that you were trolled (possibly as Versus22), but what policies did you break? Isn't a "clean start" allowed? Also, thanks for the compliment (unless it was meant sarcastically as an April Fools' Joke :P) And this one too. PiRSquared17 (talk) 19:07, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@PiRSquared17: The clean start rule in general, by admitting on that page (and on a wiki completely unrelated to WMF) DivineAlpha (talk) 20:14, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I don't see why you would be blocked though. You started using this account the same day as you abandoned your old one, and they never overlapped. You were in good standing before too. At this point (6 years later), a block seems like it would be punitive, not preventative. In fact, you seem to be the only one who cares. PiRSquared17 (talk) 21:19, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]
The only true April Fool's joke was on Jimbo Wale's user page. :P DivineAlpha (talk) 20:29, 2 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the notice, Jmorgan (WMF). I can't remember what I did on this participation? Maybe I commented somewhere... hmm... DivineAlpha (talk) 23:56, 14 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why revert? I added info about SAR and provided a source, removed invalid parameter from the infobox, changed stub template to more specific and improved representation of standby time. What do I get? Revert by you without any explainations. Why? Cheers, --37.17.112.37 07:54, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The http address (link) started with an IP address, which I thought was a DL link. DivineAlpha (talk) 08:19, 7 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Templates marked for deletion[edit]

The following discussion is marked as answered (no further comment). If you have a new comment, add it just below the box.

Why did you mark for deletion templetes for translations in Awakatek language (ISO 639-3 agu) and Saliba language (ISO 639-3 slc) in Estonian Wiktionary? --Metsavend (talk) 07:57, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Metsavend: Sorry, I didn't realize it was going to be for translation. Which area was this (link)?I presume on one page where I put the question mark in the edit summary (et.wikt). DivineAlpha (talk) 18:10, 19 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Oh wait... yeah I see. My deepest apologies again (to you and Andres) for tagging the two templates for deletion [1], [2]. I thought it was just a normal page (not a template) and also didn't pay attention who (user or anon.) started those pages. Wow... I'll be more careful from here on. What future IdeaLab campaigns would you like to see?[edit]

Hi there,

I’m Jethro, and I’m seeking your help in deciding topics for new IdeaLab campaigns that could be run starting next year. These campaigns aim to bring in proposals and solutions from communities that address a need or problem in Wikimedia projects. I'm interested in hearing your preferences and ideas for campaign topics!

Here’s how to participate:

Take care,

I JethroBT (WMF), Community Resources, Wikimedia Foundation. 03:34, 5 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Future IdeaLab Campaigns results[edit]

Last December, I invited you to help determine future ideaLab campaigns by submitting and voting on different possible topics. I'm happy to announce the results of your participation, and encourage you to review them and our next steps for implementing those campaigns this year. Thank you to everyone who volunteered time to participate and submit ideas.

With great thanks,

I JethroBT (WMF), Community Resources, Wikimedia Foundation. 23:56, 26 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Open Call for Individual Engagement Grants[edit]

Greetings! The Individual Engagement Grants (IEG) program is accepting proposals until April 12th to fund new tools, research, outreach efforts, and other experiments that enhance the work of Wikimedia volunteers. Whether you need a small or large amount of funds (up to $30,000 USD), IEGs can support you and your team’s project development time in addition to project expenses such as materials, travel, and rental space.
