Hi, VoA — looks like I get to "inaugurate" your user talk page on Meta :). First of all, thank you so much for your kind words. I had noticed that you have improved the heading at Requests for permissions. It is indeed much better, since previously the instructions were giving something of a wrong impression. If taken literally, the text would have been stating that people should ask, and that the Steward would have to be the one to consult the ArbCom concerning whether or not the status should/would be granted. Of course, I knew that wasn't the case, but I was still a bit unsure as to whether or not I should start a request here at once, while my request on en was still open — which is why I did. I have since removed my post. If my request goes through, someone from the ArbCom (probably Raul) will post there for me.
I would also like to thank you for all your help with the procedure. Seems we're still refining it, and this request of mine may have given us a nudge in the right direction. Thanks again, Redux 04:56, 21 July 2006 (UTC)

Shanel's French level

Hello Voice of All. I've just increased Shanel's level of French on her steward candidate statement after testing her fluency on IRC. She is able to hold a basic conversation, which is Babel code fr-2. I think this is sufficient for most steward-related French discussions; I hope that meets your opposition, because I sincerely believe she is very well suited for stewardship. :) —{admin} Pathoschild 19:16, 30 November 2006 (UTC)
